- Enter compensation as annual, gross (pre-tax) figures, as requested by the submission form.
- Submit only once per company-and-role combination.
- Not submit fake, speculative, or second-hand data.
- Not scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the platform.
- Not spam, abuse, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Data is provided “as is”
All data on PayScale is crowdsourced and self-reported. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, for informational purposes only. We make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose, and it should not be treated as financial, legal, or career advice. Any decisions you make based on it are your own responsibility.
Intellectual property
The PayScale name, design, and software are owned by PayScale and its licensors. By submitting data, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, coarsen, aggregate, and display that data anonymously as part of the service. You may not copy or reuse the platform's branding or software without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayScale and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the data or the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for anyone who violates these terms or misuses the platform. You may stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction [governing law placeholder]. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with that jurisdiction's courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
